The Whites avoided failing to score in five consecutive league games for the first time since March 1982 in League Division One. Joe Gelhardt (aged 19 years and 313 days) became the youngest player to a score a winning goal in added time at the end of a game in the Premier League since Gabriel Jesus for Manchester City against Swansea City on 5 February 2017 (19 years and 308 days).

League position: 20th This was the first time that Norwich City had lost after equalising in added time at the end of a games since Liverpool's 5-4 win at Carrow Road in the Premier League on 23 January 2016. The Canaries became the first team to lose six consecutive games three times within the same season in the Premier League. City had now conceded 39 goals in second-half of their games so far in this Premier League season; ten more than any other team. Norwich City were awarded a penalty in the 75th minute for a foul but was reversed after a VAR review.
