League position: 14th Leeds United avoided losing their first two games of a season in the top division for the first time since 1980-81 in League Division One. Raphinha became the first player score in three consecutive games against Everton in all competitions for the Whites since Peter Lorimer in January 1978. This was the first time they had conceded more than one goal in a home game in the Premier League since the 2-1 defeat by Everton on 3 February 2021.
