Kick-off: 5.00pm local
This game was due to be played on 19 August 2020 but was postponed due to a player and a physio from Slovan Bratislava testing positive for COVID-19.
The game was re-scheduled for two days later and Slovan had to provide a list of additional players who had tested negative and were eligible to play. However, a player from the second group returned two positive test results in consecutive days so the entire group had to be placed into quarantine.
The matter was submitted to the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body, and the Chairman of the UEFA Appeals Body decided: "The 2020/21 UEFA Champions League first qualifying round match between KÍ Klaksvík and ŠK Slovan Bratislava, that was initially scheduled to be played on 19 August 2020, as forfeited by ŠK Slovan Bratislava, who is therefore deemed to have lost the match 3-0 in accordance with Annex I.2.1 to the Regulations of the UEFA Champions League (2020/21 season)."
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the UEFA Executive Committee decided that all ties played in the three qualifying rounds in this season's UEFA Champions League competition should be single-leg matches, hosted by one of the teams decided by draw and played behind closed doors.
