The Chelsea winger was outstanding in Toulouse and capped off a good Belgium display when he cut in from the left, beat two players and fired in low. Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld headed Belgium ahead and substitute Michu Batshuayi made it 2-0 when he tapped in. Hazard then scored his superb goal in the 80th minute before Yannick Carrasco fired in the fourth in stoppage time. Belgium had now won seven of their last nine matches against Hungary, including the last five (drawn two). Hungary's last victory against Belgium was a 3-1 friendly triumph in November 1958. Belgium and Hungary had not met in a competitive match since a 1-1 draw at the 1982 World Cup.
