League position: 10th This was Huddersfield Town's second win in their last nine games in the Premier League. They had now won consecutive home games in the top division for the first time since November 1971. Rajiv Van La Parra's goal ended his run of 23 appearances in all competitions for the Terriers without a goal. Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner said: "I know that when we played Man United this was a big win. I think it was a big win for the football club, while today it was a big win for us as a group and for me as a manager. We've shown we can play in our identity and style and also, if we need to, we can play in the deeper block if necessary and I'm absolutely delighted the players have shown both."

Comments:

League position: 15th With ten points after 11 games, this was West Bromwich Albion's lowest points total at this stage of a Premier League season since 2005-06 (eight points) when they went on to be relegated. The Baggies had won two of their last 20 games in the Premier League. Gareth Barry became the first player to face 46 different clubs in the Premier League. West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis said: "Anybody who has been on a run of games like us and we’ve been on a poor run in respect of results and winning and losing, you’re going to take criticism. I’ve been in the game a long time to know that’s what happens no matter who you are and what club you’re at. It's coming up to three years since I took over the football club. The club is in a better position now than what it was then."
