Although some sources credited Aden Flint with the first goal, the Bristol Post reported: "Relentless pressure eventually told when the Robins went ahead from a set piece routine in the 34th minute. "Luke Freeman directed a corner to the far post, Flint rose to head the ball back across goal and there was big Matt Smith to apply a final touch with his head from close range and register his second goal in as many games to give the League One leaders a deserved lead."
