Comments:

League position: 19th Following the sacking of manager Claudio Ranieri, this was former Chelsea midfielder Scott Parker's first game in caretaker charge. He made 28 appearances for the Blues from January 2004 to July 2005. Fulham had now become the first team to lose ten London derby games in the top division in a season. The Whites had now lost eight of their last nine games in the Premier League, conceding at least two goals in all nine games.

Comments:

League position: 6th Chelsea became the 91st of the 92 teams in the top four divisions to score in an away league game in 2019; only Huddersfield Town (bottom of the Premier League) had now failed to score. The Blues avoided losing four consecutive away games in the Premier League for the first time since December 2000 under manager Claudio Ranieri. They also avoided failing to score in four consecutive away games in the top division for the first time since December 1991.
