Comments:

League position: 18th This defeat confirmed Fulham’s relegation to the League Championship. With each team having as many as three games left to play, this was now the earliest that all three relegation places had been confirmed in a 38-game season in the Premier League. The Whites had now been relegated in each of their last three seasons in the Premier League (also 2013-14 and 2018-19). They had now taken one point from their last seven games in the Premier League.

Comments:

League position: 14th This win confirmed Burnley’s survival in this Premier League season. It also confirmed that Newcastle United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Southampton would be staying up. This was manager Sean Dyche’s 350th league game in charge of the Clarets while captain Ben Mee made his 350 appearance for the club. Chris Wood had now scored 50 goals for Burnley in all competitions (46 in the Premier League, two in the UEFA Europa League, one in the FA Cup and one in the League Cup).
