League position: 20th Fulham had now conceded three or more goals in each of their first three games of a league season for the first time since 1956-57 in League Division Two (12 goals). The Whites had now conceded two or more goals in 17 of their last 21 games in the Premier League. They had now lost their opening three games of a league season for the first time since 2014-15 in the League Championship.
