Comments:

League position: 7th Everton had now won one of their last six Premier League games after winning the previous four. The Toffees remained unbeaten at Goodison Park in the Premier League since March 2016 (won five and drawn four) but had now drawn two of their last three at home. They had failed to score in only two of their 12 games so far in this Premier League season. Kevin Mirallas was booked in the second minute of added time in the second half.

Comments:

League position: 20th As they dropped to the bottom of the table, Swansea City had now gone 11 consecutive games without a league win for the first time since December 2000 when they were playing in League Division 2 (now League One). The Swans had now equalled their worst-ever 12-game start to a league season. They also won one and drew three of their first 12 games in 1983-84 in League Division Two (now League Championship). In their 101st game, City had now taken a total of 100 points from their away games in the Premier League.
