Comments:

On his senior debut, Jake Bidwell - at 16 years and 271 days - became the youngest player to play for Everton in Europe beating the record held by team-mate Jack Rodwell. It also meant he became the third youngest behind Jose Baxter and James Vaughan to play for the Toffees in all competitions.
