Comments:

With his seventh goal, Romulu Lukaku became Everton's all-time record goalscorer in European competition. He surpassed the record held by Fred Pickering who scored his six goals in the 1964-65 Fairs Cup campaign. Everton had now won 12 games in the 2014-15 season, six of them were in the UEFA Europa League. They had now won five of their last six Europa League games at Goodison Park.

Comments:

Dynamo Kiev remained without a win in England in European competition having now lost on ten of their 12 visits. At the time of this game, they were unbeaten in this season's Ukrainian Premier League and were seven points clear of second-placed Shakhtar Donetsk.
