Comments:

England had now won ten consecutive friendly games for the first time since May 1929. The Three Lions remained unbeaten in their 20 games against African nations (won 14). England were awarded a penalty in the 46th minute for a foul but was reversed after a VAR review.

Comments:

Wilfried Zaha missed this game due to injury. Had he played, he would have become their first-ever opposing player who had also previously played for England in a 'A' international. The last player to represent the Three Lions having earlier played in a full international for another nation was Bobby Evans in March 1912 (also Wales).
