Comments:

Chelsea became the fourth team to be eliminated from a UEFA Champions League campaign without losing a game. They also remained unbeaten in seven games against French opposition in the Champions League games at Stamford Bridge (won four and drawn three). The Blues had now scored in their last 19 home games in the Champions League. The Premier League champions-elect had now won only two of their last six games in all competitions at Stamford Bridge.

Comments:

On their sixth visit, David Luiz's goal was the first scored by Paris St Germain in England in a European competition while his goal was also the first scored by a former Chelsea against them in the UEFA Champions League. PSG had gone on to win four of the five previous games when they have had a player sent off in the Champions League. Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalled Edgar Davids' competition record of receiving four red cards in the Champions League.
