Celtic v Legia Warszawa, 06 August 2014

This tie was played at Murrayfield, Edinburgh due to events at the Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow staged at Celtic Park. Despite losing this match 2-0 and the tie 6-1 on aggregate, Celtic were reinstated to the Play Off round. The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplanary body sanctioned Legia Warszawa for fielding a suspended player contrary to Article 18 of the Regulations of the UEFA Champions League and Article 21 of the UEFA Disciplanary Regulations 2014 Edition. The match was declared a forfeit and Celtic declared 3-0 winners and qualified for the Play-Offs on away goals with aggregate score at 4-4. UEFA Appeals body met on 14 Aug 2014 following Legia Warszawa appeal against the decision but it was rejected and the original decision upheld. Kick-off: 7.45pm BST
