Comments:

League position: 17th Burnley avoided losing five consecutive games in the top division for the first time since January 1976. This was the first clean sheet that the Clarets had kept in their last ten games in all competitions. This was manager Sean Dyche’s 300th game in charge of Burnley in all competitions. His first game was also a 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Turf Moor (3 November 2012 in the League Championship).

Comments:

League position: 7th Wolverhampton Wanderers had now lost two of their last nine games in the Premier League (won four). Wolves had now failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 12 away games in the Premier League. Conor Coady had now conceded three own goals so far in this Premier League season. Only Brighton and Hove Albion’s Lewis Dunk (four in 2017-18) and Martin Skrtel of Liverpool (four in 2013-14) had scored more in a season in the competition.
