Comments:

League position: 7th Burnley conceded as many goals in this game as they had in their previous nine games at Turf Moor in the Premier League so far in this season. The Clarets failed in their attempt to equal their club record of four consecutive clean sheets in the top division which they most recently achieved in March 1922. Nahki Wells became the third Bermudian to play in the Premier League after Kyle Lightbourne and Shaun Goater.

Comments:

League position: 5th Harry Kane (35 games) had now equalled Alan Shearer's competition record of 36 goals in the Premier League in a calendar year (42 games in 1995). Harry Kane had now scored seven hat-tricks for Tottenham Hotspur in 2017. This was Spurs' first win in their last six away games in the Premier League. They last had a longer away run without a win in April 2012 (eight games).
