The Clarets had now won consecutive home games in the Premier League for the first time since December 2020. Connor Roberts scored his first goal in the Premier League in his 19th career appearance in the division. Jack Cork scored in the 63rd minute but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review due to an offside decision.
