Comments:

League position: 15th On the day of this game, both Burnley goals were recorded as own goals, with the first 'credited' to Joe Bryan. However, following an official appeal by the club, the Premier League subsequently agreed it should be recorded as being scored by Jeff Hendrick. His angled shot, which cannoned in off Bryan's knee, was deemed to be on target. The Clarets had now lost one of their last 14 games against teams in the Premier League relegation zone (won seven). They had now won three consecutive games in the Premier League for the first time since April 2018.

Comments:

League position: 19th After 22 games, Fulham had now conceded 49 goals so far in this Premier League season. Excluding own goals, the Whites now had only five different goalscorers so far in this Premier League season; fewer than any other team. They remained as the only team who had yet to win an away game so far in this Premier League season (drawn two, lost ten).
