Albion had now equalled their club record of three consecutive clean sheets in the top division. Glenn Murray scored his 100th goal for the Seagulls in all competitions in his 231st appearance. He became the second player to reach a century of goals for the club after Tommy Cook who scored 123 between 1921 and 1928.
