Comments:

League position: 13th Three of Brighton and Hove Albion's four home defeats in this Premier League season had been against teams in the top six. Only bottom of the table West Bromwich Albion had now drawn as many home games in this Premier League season (eight).

Comments:

League position: 4th Tottenham Hotspur dropped points from a winning position for the second time in this Premier League season (also 1-1 versus Burnley at Wembley Stadium in August). Harry Kane had now scored against 26 of the 27 teams he had faced in the Premier League; Cardiff City remained as the only team he had not scored against. Spurs were now unbeaten in their last 13 away games in all competitions. Their only longer such run was the club record sequence of 15 games from April 1949 to January 1950.
