Comments:

League position: 7th Brentford had now won five of their last eight home games in the Premier League (lost one). The Bees were awarded a penalty in the 28th minute following a VAR review for a foul. Ivan Toney converted the spot-kick to score his 50th goal for the Bees (96 games). They scored five or more goals in a league game for the first time since a 5-0 win at Preston North End in the League Championship on 10 April 2021. Bryan Mbeumo's goal was initially disallowed for offside but the decision was subsequently overturned following a VAR review.

Comments:

League position: 9th Leeds United failed in their attempt to win consecutive league games in London for the first time since April 2008 in League One. The Whites had now conceded 53 goals in 26 games in the Premier League in 2022. Luis Sinisterra became the fifth player to score in his first three starts for United after Charlie Keetley in 1928, Albert Wakefield in 1947, Frank Fidler in 1951 and Ramon Nunez in 2011.
