Comments:

Following this result, Birmingham City had now won just one of their last eight FA Cup matches at St Andrew's.

Comments:

The Baggies have not progressed beyond the quarter-finals of the FA Cup since the 1981-82 season. Victor Anichebe scored more than once in a game for the first time since he scored two for Everton against Newcastle United on 30 December 2006. This was only the second time in their last 17 away games that Albion had scored more than once.
