An easy win for Australia - despite the pitch at the Adelaide Oval being in poor condition. .Also AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualification (2nd round, Group B) The first half was dominated by the Socceroos with Tajikstan failing to test Maty Ryan in the Aussie goal. After early resistance in the second half, the floodgates opened. Substitute Tom Rogic scored two goals and nearly made it a hat trick within 10 minutes of coming on as he hit the cross bar. In truth, the scoreline could have been in double figures, with Tajikistan only saved from a heavier defeat by the woodwork.
