Comments:

League position: 2nd Arsenal became the second club to reach 1,000 points in home games in Premier League history (1,002). Manchester United had now earned a total of 1,103 points at home. This was the Gunners' sixth consecutive Premier League win. It was their best such run since an eight-match sequence between February and April in 2015. Granit Xhaka had now been sent off eight times since April 2014 (also six for Borussia Monchengladbach and once for Switzerland) [c/o Sky Sports Statto]

Comments:

League position: 19th This was new manager Bob Bradley's first game. He became the first manager from USA to take charge in a Premier League game. This defeat meant Swansea City had equalled their worst start to a league season in any division (played eight, won one and lost six). The Swans had now lost four consecutive Premier League games for the first time since 2013 (last two of 2012-13 and first two of 2013-14).
