Comments:

League position: 3rd Arsenal moved up in to the top three of the Premier League after a completed round of games for the first time since February 2017. The Gunners had now won all seven of their home league games in 2019. Manchester City were now they only other team in the top four divisions who had yet to drop a point at home in 2019. Arsenal had now won ten consecutive home games in the Premier League for the first time since May 1998. They became the third team to keep 400 clean sheets in the Premier League after Manchester United (444) and Chelsea (416). This was Arsenal's first game in 18 days. It was the longest period they had gone without playing a senior game in a season since 1981-82 when they did not play from 8 December to 2 January due to inclement weather conditions.

Comments:
