Comments:

League position: 6th Arsenal became the second team to lead by four goals or more at half-time in consecutive home games in the Premier League (also Manchester United versus Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday in November 1997). With his first hat-trick in senior football, Aaron Ramsey became the 20th different player to score a hat-trick for the Gunners in the Premier League. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal) became the third player to score on both his Bundesliga and Premier League debuts (also Mark Hughes for Bayern München and Manchester United and Gilberto for Hertha Berlin and Tottenham Hotspur).

Comments:

League position: 10th Everton had now conceded nine goals in two Premier League visits to London in the last month (also 0-4 at Tottenham Hotspur on 13 January 2018). The Toffees were now without a win in their last 28 away games in the Premier League against teams that finished in the previous season's top six. Sam Allardyce became the fifth manager to take charge of 500 games in the Premier League.
