Comments:

League position: 6th This was Arsène Wenger's 606th and final home game in all competitions as Arsenal manager (won 415, lost 71). This was their final home game of the season. The Gunners scored 54 league goals at Emirates Stadium in 2017-18; their joint-highest home goals total in a Premier League season (also 2004-05) and their joint-highest since scoring 56 in 1963-64 in League Division One. Arsenal took 47 points from their home games in 2017-18. Only in 2003-04 (49) and 2000-01 (48) had they taken more points in a Premier League season. Following Everton a day earlier, they became the second club to play 500 home games in the Premier League (won 323, lost 61).

Comments:

League position: 7th This was the first time that Burnley had conceded five goals in a game since a 5-1 defeat at West Ham United in the 5th round of the FA Cup on 21 February 2011. This was the third time that the Clarets had lost in the Premier League by a five-goal margin (also 5-0 versus Tottenham Hotspur and 6-1 versus Manchester City in 2009-10). They failed in their attempt to complete a run of five consecutive away games without defeat in the top division for the first time since September 1966.
