Argentina v Chile, 26 June 2016

Score0-0 :: penalties 4-2 to Chile
RefereeHéber Lopes
CompetitionCopa America Final
VenueMetLife Stadium, East Rutherford
Attendance82,026
Kick-off: 8.00pm local The referee very harshly sent off Marcello Doaz for a second yellow before the half hour mark and then evened things out with a harsh red for Marcos Rojo just before half time. Neither team could fashion a goal in regulation time and the game went to extra time. With goalscoring chances few and far between, Claudio Bravo made an excellent save to keep the scores level on 100 minutes. As was the case last year, the final went to penalties and, as before, Chile won on penalties - this time 4-2 as against 4-1 last year.
