League position: 13th This victory ended AFC Bournemouth's club record of five consecutive home games in the Premier League without a win (lost three). The Cherries avoided losing three consecutive home games in the Premier League for the first time since April 2016. With one game still to play, they had now equalled their club record of 13 wins in a season in the top division. AFC Bournemouth retained their record of not having lost their final home game of a league season since 2010-11 in League One against Rochdale (2-1). Nathan Aké had now scored two of the Cherries' five 90th-minute winning goals in the Premier League; also versus Liverpool on 4 December 2016. At 19 years and 351 days, Mark Travers became the youngest goalkeeper to start a game in the Premier League since Joe Hart for Manchester City against Sheffield United on 14 October 2006 (19 years and 178 days).

Comments:

League position: 3rd Tottenham Hotspur had now lost four of their last five games in all competitions by a 1-0 margin. Spurs had now lost 19 games in all competitions so far in 2018-19; their most in a season since 2008-09. They had now lost six consecutive away games in the Premier League for the first time since May 2004. This was the second time that Tottenham Hotspur had two players sent-off in a game in the Premier League; also Gareth Bale and Michael Dawson against Stoke City on 19 October 2008. This was the first time that two players from the same team were shown red cards in a game in the Premier League since Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas of Chelsea against Burnley on the opening weekend of the 2017-18 season. After two minutes and 13 seconds, Juan Foyth's dismissal was the quickest that a substitute had been sent-off in a game in the Premier League since Liverpool's Steven Gerrard against Manchester United on 22 March 2015 after 38 seconds.
