Comments:

League position: 11th AFC Bournemouth had now won consecutive Premier League games for the first time since March 2016. The Cherries avoided becoming the first team to concede two goals or more in seven consecutive Premier League home games since Wolverhampton Wanderers set the record of 11 in a row from December 2011 to April 2012. They kept a clean sheet for the first time in their last 11 league and cup games. Max Gradel replaced Joshua King in the second minute of added time in the second-half. Jordon Ibe replaced Marc Pugh in the fourth minute of added time in the second-half. AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said: "I am delighted with the back-to-back wins and the clean sheet. It has been a long time since we have been solid enough to do that."

Comments:

League position: 17th Swansea City had now kept one clean sheet in their last 14 league and cup games. The Swans had now conceded ten own goals in league games since the start of the 2015-16 season; more than any other team in the Premier League and Football League. City had now drawn only three games in this Premier League season; a joint-low with leaders Chelsea. Swansea City manager Paul Clement said: "We were clearly not good enough. For periods we did okay then we suffered a blow and our performance went right down. In the second-half, it was a similar situation."
