Draw procedure

The match schedule for the final tournament of the UEFA European Football Championship France 2016 was unveiled on 25 April 2014.

The draw for the finals groups will be held at 18.00 CET on 12 December 2015 in Paris.

There will be four pots (see below).

France are not included in the pots as they are automatically assigned as team A1.

The teams will be drawn into six groups of four teams each (Groups A to F), with the top two in each plus the four best third-placed sides to advance to the knockout phase. The group stage runs from 10-22 June 2016.
