Before joining Southampton in May 2004 on a two-year contract, Kenwyne had also attracted the attention of Manchester United, Middlesbrough, West Ham United and Rangers.
He joined Sunderland in August 2007 with a four-year contract that was extended to June 2013 in January 2009.
Kenwyne joined Stoke City in August 2010 with a four-year contract.
