Kick-off: 12.30pm Following a plane crash on Monday 28 November in Colombia that killed 71, a minute's silence was held before every football match this weekend. Football's world governing body FIFA also requested that all players wear black armbands in remembrance. Nineteen of the dead were members of the Chapecoense Football Club from Brazil on their way to play the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final in Medelin, Colombia. Willian's goal was the 200th that Chelsea had scored against Manchester City in league games.

League position: 4th This was the first time that Manchester City had lost a Premier League home game that they had been leading since 12 April 2009 in a 3-1 defeat by Fulham. City had now conceded a total of 901 goals in the Premier League. Chelsea had conceded 903 but played 190 more games. They had now kept only two clean sheets in their last 17 Premier League games. Sergio Aguero was sent off in the sixth minute of added time in the second-half. Fernandinho was sent off in the seventh minute of added time in the second-half.

Comments:

League position: 1st Chelsea had now won eight consecutive Premier League games in the same season for the first time since April 2007 when they won nine in the row. They had now conceded two goals in their last eight Premier League games. The Blues now had 19 points more than at the same stage (14 games) in the previous season when they were in 14th position. Michy Batshuayi replaced Eden Hazard in the fourth minute of added time in the second-half. Nathaniel Chalobah was booked in the eighth minute of added time in the second-half.
