The Blues had now been drawing at half-time in 22 of their 35 games in the Premier League so far in 2021-22; the most in the division. Romelu Lukaku had now scored 200 league goals in his career. Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored in the 38th minute but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review due to an offside decision.
