He became the first Chelsea manager to fail to win any of his first three games in charge since Rafa Benítez in December 2012. Mason Mount became the first English-born player to score for Chelsea under an English manager since Dennis Wise under Glenn Hoddle against Blackburn Rovers in May 1996.
