Comments:

League position: 20th Burnley had now lost four consecutive home games in the Premier League for the first time since April 2010. The Clarets had now lost five of their opening six games of a season in the top division for the first time since 1927-28 in League Division One, while taking one point in their opening six league games in this season became their worst-ever start to a league season in their history. Chris Wood became the ninth player to make 100 appearances for Burnley in the Premier League.
