A hard-working midfield player with a powerful right-foot shot, Zoran developed in Slovenia with Rudar Velenje making his debut in 1993 before joining Croatia's Dinamo Zagreb in 1999. A member of the squad that won domestic honours in 1999-2000 and 2000-01, he subsequently joined FK Austria Wien in the 2001 close season. He made his international debut in August 1998 against Hungary he mostly features from the subs' bench.
