Bulajič is a stylish and intelligent central defender who began his career at Rudar Velenge making his debut in 1992. He moved to Publikum Celje for the 1995 and 1996 seasons before joining Maribor in 1996. He was a member of the Maribor team that won successive league titles in 1996-97 and 1997-98 and his form won him an international debut in March 1998 against Poland. He joined German club Koln in the summer of 1998 and helped them win promotion back to the Bundesliga top division in 1999-2000. A recent injury curtailed his season but he should be back in time for the Finals. A great stopper and man-to-man marker he may be employed from the bench.
