Aranalde joined Walsall from Spanish Second Division club CD Logrones shortly before the start of the 2000-01 season.
The experienced full-back has had spells with Albacete, Marbella and Seville.
He is a tall, attack minded player.
Aranalde joined Sheffield Wednesday in March 2005 with a contract to the end of the season.
He joined Carlisle United in July 2005 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2008 in November 2006.
