A flame-haired Scottish stopper, the flamboyant centre-back followed manager Terry Neill from Tottenham Hotspur to Arsenal in March 1977. FA Cup winner 1979 and runner-up 1978, 1980 and ECW Cup runner-up 1980. Hard man Willie Young was banned from playing for Scotland, along with Billy Bremner and others, after breaking a 1 am curfew, celebrating Scotland's win against Denmark in a World Cup qualifier.
