A flame-haired Scottish stopper, the flamboyant centre-back followed manager Terry Neill from Tottenham Hotspur to Arsenal in March 1977.
Hard man Willie Young was banned from playing for Scotland, along with four others, after breaking a 1 am curfew, celebrating a win against Denmark in a World Cup qualifier.
