Has made about 50 appearances for Swansea. Walter featured in a number of early-season games for Swansea last term but after returning from a spell of international duty later in the autumn he struggled with some niggling injuries and it was not until mid-April that he returned to the first team. He scored two late goals on his first start for the Swans against Wycombe but was out of contract in the summer and at the time of writing his future was uncertain. An enigmatic striker he can show tremendous ability on the ball and is willing to take on the opposition from anywhere in the park. He was recalled to the Jamaica squad during the 2000 close season and made intermittent appearances during the campaign, winning a further seven caps.
