After some brilliant displays with WBA, United signed Tomasz in August 2006 (firstly on loan) as second choice keeper. Whenever called upon to deputise for van der Sar he is extremely competent.
Tomasz joined West Bromwich Albion in July 2004 with a three-year contract.
He joined Manchester United in August 2006 on a season's loan and moved to Old Trafford on a permanent basis in July 2007 with a three-year contract that was extended to June 2012 in September 2008.
