Switzerland International
Ramon again struggled to win a place in George Graham's Tottenham side in the first half of last season and made the starting line-up for just eight Premiership games. Transferred to Celtic in December he received the regular first-team place he craved, and after scoring twice on his debut against Aberdeen he went on to gain winners' medals in the Scottish League Cup and Scottish Cup and become a key member of Martin O'Neill's championship-winning side. He is an effective defender who is strong in the air and quick on the ball.
