Over 40 appearances at club level but needs to find a club where he can fully establish himself. Paul returned from a spell in Iceland at the start of the 2000-01 campaign and after a trial with Crewe he joined Scunthorpe United last September. He came on from the subs' bench in the home win against Torquay and looked comfortable at right wing-back but he was released after three weeks and then spent time training with Wimbledon before joining Luton Town on a short-term contract. He featured regularly for the Hatters in the closing weeks of the campaign but was unable to prevent them dropping into the Third Division.
