Paul Robinson

Paul Robinson was once again a regular in the Watford line-up in 2000-01 to become an established member of the first team at Vicarage Road.

A left back who is very strong in the tackle, he was an asset at set pieces and worked hard to improve his passing.

However, he tended to accumulate bookings during the campaign and this is an area of his game needed to show improvement.

Paul's value to the Hornets was recognised when he was awarded an extended contract during the season that would keep him at the club until 2005.

However, the club's financial problems led to his £250,000 move to West Bromwich Albion in October 2003 on a two-year contract.

This was extended to June 2007 in April 2005, then to June 2009 in July 2006 and to June 2010 in August 2008.

After a loan spell, Paul joined Bolton Wanderers in January 2009 with a contract to June 2012.

He joined Birmingham City in September 2012 with a monthly contract that was extended to June 2013 in January 2013, to June 2014 in May 2013, to June 2015 in May 2014, to June 2016 in May 2015, to June 2017 in May 2016 and to June 2018 in June 2017.
