Having joined Bristol Rovers on loan at the start of the 2000-01 campaign, Micky scored with a fine left-foot shot on his debut at Peterborough United but, after signing permanently, he found his progress hampered by a viral infection.
His goal tally was a little disappointing and it was no real surprise that he was allowed to return to Plymouth Argyle on transfer deadline day for a nominal fee.
He showed he had lost none of his confidence in front of goal by scoring four times in ten appearances in the remaining weeks of the season for the Third Division club.
Micky, who is an experienced striker who works hard and has the ability to hold the ball up, had his contract at Plymouth Argyle extended to June 2006 in April 2005.
