Although not as effective going forward for Bristol City as in previous years, Mickey still had a fine season at Ashton Gate in 2000-01 and was honoured by being selected for the PFA Division Two team for the second successive year.
A regular for most of the campaign, he missed a handful of games in the spring after suffering a broken toe.
He is a stylish left-sided defender who can play either at full back or in a wing-back role.
Mickey's contract at Bristol City was extended to June 2005 in July 2004.
Mickey joined Cheltenham Town in January 2006 with a contract to the end of the season.
