Welsh international Maurice Parry joined Liverpool from Brighton and helped Liverpool win the First Division championship in 1900-01, though not making enough appearances to win a medal. Later he helped Liverpool to the 2nd and 1st Division Championshipain successive seasons. He went on to a coaching career at Barcelona, Frankfurt and Cologne before returning to Anfield.
